We’re excited to welcome Alice Hamer to the Halo team! Alice joined us in April 2025 as our South Island Business Development Manager. A Lincoln graduate with a strong background in agriculture and rural technology, Alice brings major experience in the water sector - including irrigation schemes and rural water infrastructure - as well as hands-on knowledge of the day-to-day realities on-farm.

Alice spent time working on a farm in the Wairarapa and gained valuable experience in the thoroughbred industry both across New Zealand and overseas. Now based in North Canterbury, she lives on a rural block where she’s setting up her own equestrian property – combining her passion for the land with her love of horses as a keen equestrian.

Her practical experience, sharp thinking, and great sense of humour make her a fantastic addition to the team. Alice is passionate about helping farmers and partners simplify their monitoring, and her customer-first approach ensures she’s not just here to sell – she’s here to support.
