Quarter 4, 2023

Celebrating milestones: A grateful note to our valued customers.

I want to sincerely thank our farming, horticultural, and commercial customers for your unwavering support. Since 2001, Halo (Tag It) has been in the game, and I am immensely proud as we near 10,000 customers, monitoring over 100,000 devices across the multiple industries we operate in. You, our customers, are the backbone of Halo. Your continued support has been crucial to our success. We are deeply grateful for the goodwill and collaboration that has defined our journey.

Welcoming Vat-Man customers to Halo

This week we announced the exciting news of the acquisition of Vat-Man Milk Monitoring from DTS (Dairy Technology Services). This allows us to extend our customer base of dairy farmers and provide them with additional monitoring opportunities across their farms in areas such as water, silo, and effluent management. The team is thrilled about this expansion and the exciting journey that lies ahead. View the press release here.

Navigating the cycles.

All businesses operate in cycles, with market fluctuations requiring adaptability. We are committed to being intertwined with your success, recognizing that your triumphs are integral to ours. Our dedication to keeping you in mind remains steadfast. We strive to provide the best products to aid your growth and protect your farming operations. In the ever-changing landscape of agriculture and commercial water management data is key. Our goal, from day one, has been to empower you with data-driven insights, helping you manage your critical assets more effectively.

Looking ahead to 2024: Optimism in a changing landscape.

We are closely watching the new government's plan, anticipating positive changes for NZ’s primary sector. This positions us for a future where opportunities align in areas such as effluent, irrigation, and water storage and usage. The government's approach of reversing, reviewing, and replacing historical policies indicates a sound and pragmatic strategy. Various conversations I’ve had reflect this positive sentiment.

As we look to 2024, there's a collective sense of optimism. We eagerly anticipate another busy year with new products on the horizon. Your feedback remains invaluable as we navigate the future together. I want to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and an enjoyable festive season. Your partnership and support have been integral to our journey, and I'm excited about the opportunities the coming year holds.

Best regards,

Josh White
